Acts, 1767-1771.

The forty-six acts of the General Assembly of British West Fla. are the official copy of the bills which have passed both the Upper House of Assembly and the Commons House of Assembly, have been approved and signed by the Governor, and have been approved by the Crown of Great Britain. These acts fall into four major categories: 1. Acts organizing and refining the provincial government; 2. Acts to promote the general public welfare; 3. Acts concerning the business community and the regulation of Indian trade; and 4. Acts dealing with vagabonds, servants, slaves, etc. Each act contains an act title, date that the act passed the General Assembly, signature of the Speaker of the Commons House of Assembly, signature of the Governor, signature of the senior member of the Upper House of Assembly, and the act number.
